Diurnal

Diurnal or diurnality refers to organisms that are active during the day and usually sleep at night. Organisms that are not diurnal may be nocturnal (active at night) or crepuscular (active at twilight).

Many mammals, insects, reptiles, birds, and plants are diurnal.
