Scavengers are Consumers which feed on the remains (most commonly corpses and carrion) of organisms killed by another predator.

Scavengers partner with Decomposers to fulfill an important role in the ecosystem: decomposition of non-living organic matter.

Two examples of scavengers at IslandWood include Ravens and Steller's Jays.
